Purrs and Woofs

This evening I decided that Missy (Rusty) needed a hair cut. Because of the incredible heat here, and her masses of thick fur (she is a Persian Queen after all) she matt's easily and she can't get rid of them herself. She tries hard when she gets sudden bursts of energy but she prefers I do the hard work.

She decided that she would make herself comfortable in her favourite place on the floor in front of the fan. She laid herself on the wrong side so I had to turn her over, but we managed to get the matt's out of her. And she LOVED it. She purred, and headbutted, and wriggled about. And she bit me when she moved into the scissors and I accidentally cut her a little (sorry baby!).

Lots of Rusty fur. There was even more flying around the house, and of course, all over me. She was sufficiently pissed of when I stopped to take photos and ran off to find a comfortable spot on the lounge to curl up on and stare at me until she fell asleep.

The male human decided that the puppies deserved a treat just because they do.

Mr. Harleigh has no table manners, but Sir Max sat quietly and waited for his treat. Which is immediatly dropped and he wanted Harleighs instead, so they swapped.

Then Harleigh ran off with both of them and Sir Max was highly baffled.

Mr. Harleigh was immediately rounded up by the male human and it was demanded that he share with Sir Max (Mr. Harleigh was never taught sharing when he was a baby. We are trying to teach him, but he's a little bratty. Hopefully his new owners will have more luck!).
